We Love Hawthorne’s Architecture
November 27, 2017
Saltbox architecture comes from colonial times, and are known for their long pitched gable roofs, flat front facades and low rear roof lines. These defining features are what makes Satlbox design great, but it’s the little details we’ve added to Hawthorne that makes us love these homes so much. We can’t wait to show you more.
We designed Hawthorne to be beautiful both inside and out. And, it all starts with natural light. Oversized windows allow light to stream throughout, while the shadow box setting adds layers of depth to help define each home at Hawthorne.
Drawing from classical Saltbox design are the pitched gable roofs at Hawthorne. These further define each home’s individuality, and will be sure to make visiting friends and family know exactly which home is yours.
There’s also a rhythm to the homes at Hawthorne. Not vocally or instrumentally, but by the cadence of colours and details throughout the community. We sweat the small stuff, and it’s these details that make living at Hawthorne better.
Layers upon layers are the landscaping at each of Hawthorne‘s homes. Saying hello or goodbye to guests should make for a special occurrence each and every time. We do this by focusing on the front yards at Hawthorne, with front door stoops, well-lit entries, a tree for each home and all enclosed by picket fencing to create the feeling of a grand entry.
These are a few reasons why we love Hawthorne. To learn more about what makes Hawthorne better, visit our pop up Home Store located off the corner of 64th Ave and Fraser Hwy. Our sales team will have the latest pricing and availability, open daily from 12:00pm to 6:00pm.
Home’s We’ve Built
Walk some of the neighbourhoods we’ve helped shape. Cambie Street in Vancouver, Clayton and Grandview Heights in Surrey, or Burke Mountain and Fremont in the Tri-Cities area. Or take a look through some of the homes we’ve designed and built over the last 17 years. We’re proud of all of them. We hope you’ll see why.
We believe homes should be full of light, open and airy, rich in detail and designed so that every inch counts. Homes should also be beautiful to look at and easy to love. With this in mind, we focus on the details that count the most when designing and building your home.
After 17 years, over 4,000 homes, and thousands of wonderful families calling a Mosaic home their home, our focus on designing and building better homes has never wavered. A Better Home is our promise.
