2-5-10 Warranty
2-Year Coverage
The first year of your warranty covers all items related to the materials and workmanship of your home, from drywall to appliances. Any defects in the materials and workmanship supplied for distribution systems such as plumbing, electrical wiring, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) are also covered for the first 2 years.
5-Year Coverage
Your home’s building envelope is covered for defects for up to 5 years. The envelope defects covered include unintended water penetration that could, or does, cause material damage to the home.
10-Year Coverage
The structural defects warranty covers any defect in materials and labour that results in the failure of a load-bearing part of the home, and any defect that causes structural damage that materially and adversely affects the use of the home for residential occupancy.
